Privateers

Should we be getting income from these?

Dice roll per unit perhaps?

Could be, yes.

But feels gamey, the Privateers were essentially American and other European with personal businesses, particular enrichment, but they do not contribute to the income of any south american country, even if they fight under their flag. What Privateers can do is damage the income of the player from Spain or Royalist.

OK, no income then. Dice roll for how much income the Royalist player loses instead :)

At present they don't seem to do anything.

Once you have the card Commerce affected by privateers they do, maybe some changes are needed.

About privateers the first needed is remake those regions of Green Point of Privateers in the middle of nowhere in the ocean. If you read  or know something about Insurgent Privateers you must to see:

1) Red  points: Regions of Neutral waters for privateers=

       1) Baltimore;

        2) New Orleans;

        3) British Jamaica;

        4) Haiti (or other French waters).

Historically the red points are the main ports and waters of the insurgent privateers (under neutral flags). Warships of Spanish Armada should not enter in those red Neutral waters.

2) Yelloy points: Regions of Disputed waters for privateers=

         1) Galveston;

         2) Margarita Island;

         3) Buenos Aires; and

         4) Valparaiso.

But, the escenario make green points of privateers gamey, in the middle of nowhere in the ocean: ¿why?

3) Green points ¿What is that? ¿famous ports? ¿famous sell or capture prizes?. Sorry but I must to ask ¿What are those green Privateers Points in the map in the middle of nowhere in the ocean?

Miguel you should use the historically correct regions of the map for Insurgent Privateers.

No, famous nothing, just areas with the only intention of doing an abstraction of the privateers activity.

Sorry but we have talked about this and its clear what you think, but I wont change it, its a design decision, you dont like it, I know, but let this stay please.

Lets fix our attention in solving issues, Im just feeling like a constant critic, nothing else.
